Affiliate Marketing is another way I make money online. I Sign up and share links or codes to products and services I use. After I recommend these items, people click a link and buy an item then those companies share a portion of the profits with me! But I ONLY try to recommend products and services I’ve used or thoroughly researched, tested, etc… In fact, my Blogs, YouTube Videos, Online Store & More are Full of Affiliate links that make me money!

What is Affiliate Marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a performance-based online marketing strategy where a business rewards one or more affiliates for each visitor or customer brought by the affiliate’s marketing efforts. In simpler terms, affiliates earn a commission for driving traffic or sales to the merchant’s website through their marketing activities.
In simpler terms: Sign up and share a link to products or services you use and recommend. And when people click a link and buy an item then those companies share a portion of the profits.
For example: In one of my RV videos, I tell you, “How much I love these walkie-talkies in my RV, and say click the link below to get them for yourself…”
EXAMPLES:
In this blog post “My RV Remote Work Setup & Must Haves for Digital Nomads!” I share all my essential gear for running my business online. If someone clicks one of the links to the products I mentioned and purchases them then I will get a payout from their purchase.
EXAMPLES:
In this blog post on my RVersity website, I made a video and shared a post referencing my “TOP GIFT IDEAS FOR RVERS aka MY RV CHRISTMAS LIST” and I also made one the following year sharing my “15 GIFTS FOR RV OWNERS FULL TIME RV LIVING!” — So again if someone clicks one of my links and purchases any of the items I mentioned in the videos/blog posts then I get a little payout from it!
EXAMPLES:
I also made an entire series sharing my RV Bedroom, RV Bathroom, and RV Kitchen Essentials AGAIN all with the same concept. If someone clicks the links and purchases any of the items I mentioned I will receive a commission.
OR I might just post a picture on Social Media, My Blog, etc… and mention the brands, locations, dress, handbag, hat, and sunglasses, I am wearing with a little link telling people what I’m wearing and where to get them! Like I did when I posted about “Taking Time OFF Makes Me More Money: Here’s How“

AGAIN all with the same concept. If someone clicks the links and purchases any of the items I mentioned I will receive a commission.
I can even simply tell people to visit my Amazon Store and they can look for all the recommended items I get via Amazon!
WHERE do you share your affiliate links?
- You can share these links on your YouTube channel.
- On a blog post on your website
- On social media
- To your email list
- Friends and Family
If someone clicks my link and buys the item within a certain amount of time you get paid for it! BUT of course, EVERY affiliate program has different rules for how they payout and how you can share their links etc…
Where do I find affiliate links?
How do YOU get started and Where do you find affiliate links? Amazon Associates Program is the #1 best place to start. Impact and Commision Junction (CJ) are some other search engine-type services with tons of brands wanting people to apply and become affiliates!
OR find specific manufacturers/companies that have an affiliate program (the best way is to Google “the company name + affiliate program” (for example: “Good Sam Affiliate Program”) or Go to a company you want to promote and scroll to the bottom of their website to see if they have a tab to sign up as an affiliate then start sharing your links!
I would highly suggest focusing on one and then adding in another after you understand how each one works. Some Affilaite programs require you to make a certain number of sales over a period of time or until they will pay out, so it’s important to understand how each program works, set it up, make sure tracking is all on, etc.. before moving on to another. And, if you get denied in the beginning try try try again! Send the company and email and ask why? OR better yet how you can get approved!
